They became best friends. The human girl became priestess, and was sent out to spread her faith. The elf went with her, because it was an adventure she wouldn't let her friend go on alone. In the first town they found themselves in, they were told that people had vanished in the area near the base of a nearby mountain. Thinking they could help, the went to investigate, where they ran into an half-orc was struck dumb by how gorgeous he found the elf madien. The orc was on a question to prove himself, and knew that the mountain was home to the magical fortress of Quasquetron, which the three promptly entered and explored. On the other side of the mountain, they find themselves making their way to a nearby keep on the borderlands. While there, they realize that all is not as it seems, whether within the the human girl's own priesthood, within the nearby dens of monsters, or in the histories of the heroes who built any of this. Upon leaving the keep they are way-laid by slavers, only to find themselves surrounded by fog as they make their escape. They emerge into a dark, foreboding land filled with monsters and ruled by a creature of the night who is obsessed with red-headed women...For those that can't tell, I was running them through the B-series, with the intention of dovetailing into the megadungeons. But they begged me to play Ravenloft....so there we be.</blockquote>
