Taking the 5E-style skill resolution system and making it hiw all magic and combat works is waybeasier at the table, IMO: the magic for Stormlight is that each magic user gets two extra Skills that allow new kinds of action declaration that mundane skills wouldn't give (like flying or sinking into rock and swimming), but the action-declatation and resolution DM fiat DC is simple.</p></blockquote><p></p>
