What's your favorite online place to get games?

First Post
I a few weeks I'm going to do my xmas orders, so my stuff is waiting for me when I come to the States for x-mas. I'm familiar with Amazon. Are there other online rpg shop (or general book shops with rpgs) people recommend?

Also, does anybody know or think they know how long Amazon will have their 30% sale on (most) D&D/d20 products?

Now, if only I could get good advice on what to buy....

FRP Games is supporting this site. Hint, hint. :D

Seriously, all else being equal, it'd be great if you could order RPG stuff from them. I haven't ordered from them yet, but I have heard only good feedback.

I like funagain.com for board games.

What Piratecat said.

FRP Games (there's probably a banner above) have great prices and the service was helpful and friendly when I e-mailed them with some questions.

The catalogue on the site is not as complete as some of the other places online, but if there is something you want that's not there (whether for d20 or another system) you can drop them an e-mail and they'll get back to you with a price on it.

Even factoring in the cost of shipping to Australia (as they had to do in my case), they were substantially cheaper than my local supplier, and the books arrived in excellent condition.

Actually, I was just looking at FRPGames. They look good, and I like their discounts. But their selection is limitied, (compared to Amazon, anyway)

Piratecat, I couldn't find Of Sound Mind there. Did I miss it?

I've found buy.com to be a good place to order my WotC & White Wolf materials. You can usually get free shipping (if you can wait 7-10 days to receive your stuff) and enormous discounts. Every book I've ordered (& there have ben a LOT of books) has arrived in perfect condition--better condition than stuff I've ordered directly from White Wolf. I know that other folks have had problems with buy.com, but I've never run into trouble with them.

I've bought from Amazon for years and that's prolly my favorite online place to shop for WOTC rpg and other non-rpg books. I've been buying alot on ebay lately too, picked up the Decipher Star Trek player and narrator guides for $9.99 each and grabed the BoVD on Half.com for $21.00 including shipping (w/ $5 off coupon).

I have ordered one Item from FRP Games and pln on picking up some of my non-WoTC stuff there, prices and service to be pretty good.

John, I understand that they're pretty darn good at ordering stuff that they don't have immediately in stock. Drop them an email, and see what they have to say.

I'm psyched you want to get it! :)

FRPGames, just a little suggestion on the sig, from a lazy board reader :p Could you please make your addy in your sig line a URL link? Maybe the 'powers that be' would allow a small banner/picture type link?

Hatchling Dragon

I generally use the ENWorld RPGShop, or booksamillion (for WotC titles).

I find that despite the big cut FRPgames offers, they charge more for shipping, and after the flat rate with an identical order, RPGShop ended up cheaper. AND it supports ENWorld!
