Message: <blockquote data-quote="Olaf the Stout" data-source="post: 5177120" data-attributes="member: 13703">I picked Sociable.  Out of my current group I only know all of them through gaming.  Having said that 1 player has played in my current group for 4 years now and I played with him in another gaming group a few years before that.We are close enough that when my first daughter was born he bought her a present.  I still don't see him outside of our gaming sessions though.  He lives about 45 minutes away from me and gaming is really our only major cross-over of interests.I have also played with another player in my group for about 3-4 years and we have become more than just gaming session friends.  We went to see Avatar at the movies together as neither of our wives had much interest in seeing it.  We also chat in between sessions about our 2 games and gaming stuff in general.  He lives only 10 minutes away from me so getting together with him is a lot easier.The other 3 players I have only know for about 2 years and pretty much only see them for gaming sessons.  We're definitely more than just aquaintances but we're not close friends.Unfortunately distance and free time are probably my 2 biggest limiting factors.  I'm married with 2 children and I also play Lacrosse in the winter so, apart from the actual gaming sessions, I just don't have time to get together and "hang out" with the people I game with.  If I did then I'd definitely hang out with my current gaming group.I am in a similar situation with lacrosse.  I play and train with my team-mates but I don't really hang out with them socially much as there isn't a lot of overlap in our interests outside lacrosse.Olaf the Stout</blockquote>
