Message: <blockquote data-quote="Richards" data-source="post: 1161594" data-attributes="member: 508">My two brothers and sister were playing Gamma World back when I was in high school, and their PCs (I was GMing) were in the ruins of a shopping mall.  We had started playing in the family room after school (it was a Friday), and it was beginning to get dark outside but we hadn't yet bothered to turn on the light.  The mall the PCs were in was infested with these monsters called...screamers, I think.  They were radioactive mutants, kind of zombie-like in that they shuffled around at slow speeds, and I think they gave off higher levels of radiation when they screamed or something.  (I think they glowed blue-green, too...it's been awhile.)The mall is pretty much pitch black except for the occasional glow of these screamers, and whatever light source the party has.  I describe how they hear these moans in the background, coming from all different directions, getting louder and softer, louder and softer: "UhoooOOOOOoooooOOOOOOOoooooo..."  My sister was getting a little creeped out at it (she was like 8 or 9 at the time, I think), and suddenly, without any prior arrangement ahead of time both of my two brothers start picking up the chorus: "UhoooOOOOOoooooOOOOOOOoooooo...""UhooooooooOOOOOOOOoooooooooOOOOOOOOooooooOOOOOO...""OOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOoooOOOooooOOOOOOoooo..."My sister immediately shrieked, ran, and hid behind the sofa.  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />Johnathan</blockquote>
