Half the party giggles in delight and goes off and makes up some uber-munchkin killing machines and the rest of us decide to make up some semi-serious ones to keep the munchkins alive and mooch xp.A lot of games seemed to be like that in the early days...Anyway, we're all in the village of Homlet about to do something evil, so we decide to camp in a barn and wait until nightfall before doing evil. Some of us cant wait that long and decide to naff off into town for a bit of 'fun'... making excuses about recon and casing the joint. So the rest of us kick back for a bit.I think two of our munchkins got into a fight at the pub after trying to steal the till, they got ganked in short order, the other munchkin got chased out of the jewlers with the now 'riled up' township after him. So they chased the bastard right back to our barn, where me (the theif), the wizard and cleric are holed up.Great, surrounded by the good folk of Homlet and only 24 arrows to my name, not to worry our resourcefull munchkin has some Greek Fire (as they do) and decides he will blast our way out.Cept he borks it.The good ol "1" comes up on the dice and we do the random grenade table roll, sure as hell it lands in the barn and sets it and the wizard on fire.
