They had half the season already filmed when they aired the pilot (to terrible reviews) The pilot got decent raiting as people tuned in to see how it would be. The ratings at that point started declining alot. It started with a 1.4 I think, fell to a 1.0 then to a .8 then it fell out out the ratings which put it at a .7 or worse. It did climb briefly back to a .8 then fell off the radar again with less than a .7 a couple of weeks ago. For reference the other Friday night shows are pulling .8 at the worst for Dr. Who up a 1.0 for Dr. Who with Atlantis pulling in 1.2 or better after it and Oddessy 5 pulling in a 1.0 before it was cancled. The prepurchase I am talking about was the purchasing of the second half of the season after only the airing of the pilot. There have been several references to the execs basicly saying they had already paid for 22 episodes so they were going to show them all. This is the first I have ever heard that they even considered canceling it. As for the network, I never said it stinks. I said I was bitter at the execs for destoying the Flash Gordon property and that the execs lacked the common sense shown by the old FOX executives by not pulling the plug on this utter piece of garbage. Added to this they are dragging the rest of the network down, which I do like (Things like Eureka, Atlantis, Superhero,  thier Mini-Series) by continueing to overpromote this disaster of a show.</blockquote>
