Forcing some to choose friends over that is amazing immature and it boggles my mind that people can be so immature themselves to buy into it.The only solace I can provide is I've run campaigns for decades with set limits on character classes and races and never had any problems near to what you describe.  So bottom line, there are rational mature people out there who play D&D you just need to find some.</blockquote>
