This last episode had me thinking about how he goes about ordering people to do what he wants; at first I thought it was sheer arrogance but then I realised he's using an ancient technique handed down from police officer to police officer through the generations. He's using his AUTHORITY!

You know... give him another ten or so years, some more grey hairs, a club and some chain-mail armour, and Timothy Olyphant would make the PERFECT Vimes
