I'm feeling better. And I just realized the Apparent Irony/hypocrisy typed in my post. I began by telling how I picked up the phone from my wife while driving into work... And ended with a Rant about people on their cell phones while driving. I should explain what I mean when I say "Answering the phone while driving". What I mean is "When the phone rings, I look for someplace to turn off, see who called, then call them back". In this case, I was right by the Gas Station & was able to pull in and answer before the Voice Mail kicked in. In perhaps a show of my OCD/Paranoia/Anxiety that is literally how I do it. I refuse to answer the phone while driving. Yet my inner Lawful Pessimistic Soul keeps counting all the worst possible emergencies that someone could possibly be trying to get ahold of me as soon as possible. Thus my paranois kicks in & I have yet to be able to go more than 3 exits on a Freeway before checking to see who called. My wife tried to make it up to me my taking me in to the city for a nice dinner. Boy did that backfire. At one point, we passed 10 cars in a row with people talking on their cell phones. Everywhere I looked it jumped out at me. I'm amazed at how many people can't go 5 minutes without their cell phone. As I said, it could have been worse. Much worse. And to be honest, where me & my wife our at right now 250 bucks isn't that much. For a lot of our gamer friends, 250 would be a serious blow. We're doing OK. It won't even impact my gaming spending. It'll move a few Kitchen Gadgets purchases a month or so back. I let little stuff get to me way too much. I'd rather take it out on an anonymous web site than on my wife. Ironically, like many people I'm a lot more careful around strangers than family. Thanks for listening. A few more rant points 1. Put up the Cell Phone. 2. It's called a TURN SIGNAL. 3. Why do you merge onto the Freeway at 35 MPH & then Hit the Hammer down until you are doing 95? 4. An SUV is not a tank. Do not drive it as one. If you won't take your SUV down Gravel Roads, why did you buy one? 5. This one is why I'm feeling so much better. If you are going to ride a Motorcycle & you are going to wear baggy pants... They will ride down. So you probablly shouldn't wear White Boxers Shorts with the little red hearts that have faded to pink. No matter how hard you try, you can't look tough on a Harley with your pants around your knees & Pink hearts all over your cheeks.
