When something goes wrong* in your game, who or what gets blamed? Me. It's always my fault, somehow. Seriously, I checked. The Dungeon Master. They're supposed to be in charge, how could they let this happen? The players. They are always ruining everything. Does everything have to be a combat? THAT player. We all know the one. (And if you don't know who this player is, I've got some bad news.) The Core Rules. They can't account for everything, but we sure need them to. A third-party rules supplement. We should know better than to trust the Internet. A house rule. We should know better than to trust our DM. The dice. Random numbers, amirite? Don't trust 'em. Bad judgment. Haven't you ever heard of "retreat?" Does the word "deescalate" mean anything to you monsters? Literally anyone or anything else. Wizards of the Coast, the cast of Critical Role, Reddit, the d20 mechanic, kids these days, vape pens, whatever Nobody/Nothing. lol, nobody really believes this but I'll include it as a joke. (In case you couldn't tell, this is not intended to be a serious thread.
