in the two Bloodstone mods i have, H2 The Mines of Bloodstone and H4 The Throne of Bloodstone, two years are mentioned quite frequently: 1137 and 1147 from H2 - "At approximately the time the Witch-King came to power in the north, the first of three disasters befell Bloodstone...[the second,] the Wolf Winter of 1137 was particularly hard on the citizens of Bloodstone....many people starved in that long winter, and those who dared hunt for food became fodder for the dire wolves of the Galenas." (from another passage) "Soon the Witch-King had closed the passes through the Galena Mountains, and during the Wolf Winter of 1137, his evil gaze wandered south, toward the Kingdom of Damara. The armies of the Witch-King struck without warning and seemed unstoppable at first. But the army of Damara was brave and well-trained, and soon the tides of battle turned. For 10 long, bloody years, the forces of Vaasa and Damara fought...." ...until the summer of 1147, when King Virdin and his most powerful and loyal nobles were assassinated. the surviving nobility sued for peace, and the Witch-King took over it is some time after this point when Baron Tranth of Bloodstone sent for the adventurers that would play through the Bloodstone series of mods (H2 is set during the winter, so it could very well be the winter of 1147) so, unless what's printed in the FRCS (p110) is an un-errata'd misprint, 3e has advanced the time 200 years. "The arrival of [the Witch-King] Zhengyi and the creation of his fortress in 1347 DR turned Vaasa into a military nation of goblinkin, orcs, giants, undead, demons, bandits, and skilled assasssins, all intent on conquest." (also from the section on Damara, p108) "...the Witch-King's power was broken by a local band of adventurers. Gareth Dragonsbane was able to cement key alliances with lesser nobles through the support of the common folk, and was crowned king of Damara in 1359 DR." (Gareth Dragonsbane was a pre-generated PC included in the back of the mods. he was a 13th level cavalier in H2, and 19th level in H4)
