Where are all the Community Supporters?

Sheesh. We're only up to 47 people listed (plus the moderators). I would have expected bunches more. Are people just waiting to see if the problem will go away on its own?

I was woundering the same thing, what happened to everyone that voted for the community supporter idea.

I'm sure there are some, like myself, who can't or won't use paypal. As that is the only current payment method it does leave a few of us behind.

If you haven't read the Meta forum, you may not really know what it's about. While there are links, Morrus hasn't put up an Announcement, so far as I've seen. Some folks are rather blithe about such stuff.

Also, to be honest, at this point it isn't clear if massive doantaions are needed. Morrus was talking about an expensive upgrade, but it seems like perhaps a move that doesn't cost so much may be coming. Many folks may well donate, but they would probably want to know exactly what they are donating towards, especially if they are budget conscious.

Yup, that my barrier to donating. I don't use credit cards at all so I can't use paypal. As soon as an alternate payment form is availible I'll be sendinga long my contribution.

That would be my barrier as well. I am working on a situation which would make me feel more at ease for using PayPal, but right now it's not happening...
