Where can I find the Paragon template?

I keep seeing it mentioned here and there and I have no idea what book it's in. Is it Unearthed Arcana?

I think most of the time people are actually referring to Racial Paragon classes - which are in UA pg 32+.

These are different the epic monster template refered to above.

That'd be my guess, too. As irdeggman notes, it's not a template...it's a series of three-level prestige-style classes, with one for each of the core PHB PC races (plus half-dragon and tiefling, IIRC). IMO, they're probably borderline too-good; I've never had a player ask to play one, but I'd have to think hard about allowing them.

Piratecat is aiming you correct....if you are looking for paragon template...see the Epic Level Handbook pg 209.

If he saw it in the HotA threads, they were talking about the template, which Pkitty has correctly pointed you too.

Not sure why you all would necessarily assume it's the paragon levels... he said template, not levels, and I have not seen paragon levels discussed at length in a while.

Really? I think people, when they refer to the Paragon template, are referring to the Epic Level Handbook template (especially with all the recent talk about the Fiendish Codex I).

Thanks everyone. I am thinking of the template, not the classes. And Psion guessed right, I did become curious from it's mention in the recent HotA threads.
