Message: <blockquote data-quote="ledded" data-source="post: 2930133" data-attributes="member: 12744">I've picked up a few Thrilling Tales adventures from Adamant, and I like them ok so far (havent gotten that deep into them), I just wish their products weren't so expensive... a set of 7 or 8 advanced classes for $12.00+?  A bit much to pay sight-unseen IMO.  Their Custom Starter Kit is a bit of a better buy, but you still only end up with 5 advanced classes, 2 of their supplements, and one adventure for 20 bucks, and without being able to browse through some of the content as I would with a print product, it's a bit much to take on faith for a pdf that I'll have to print myself.  Not that I'm complaining, I'm sure their price structure is for a good reason and all that, and their production quality at a glance seems to be top-notch.  But I did save myself some needless expense that way by *not* buying d20 Past after I browsed it... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />I have picked up a couple of their adventures, the Zeppelin one just too fun-sounding to pass up, but I havent given them that good of a read yet (I love me some Zeppelins, and finally will get to use the one I built for our miniatures).  The Mind Murders adventure is the one I'm currently reading through, and while it has some good info, there are a few various and sundry references to their other products which I'll have to hand-wave anyway.  I'll probably just use the old Polyhedron Pulp stuff for d20 Modern for occupations/advanced classes with a few tweaks here and there, and use the adventures I've already purchased with some addtional tweaks to fit our campaign.</blockquote>
