Langdarma got a writeup in the 3rd Dragon Magazine Annual. It's an earthly paradise protected by a Movanic Deva known as 'The Sannyasi'. It's kind of a divine protectorate. A power called Abhirati created the place but left to travel the planes, leaving behind a portion of her power to be invested in mortal healers who ensure that other mortals living there never stay sick for long. Random portals in the Yehimals are the only way in and if you enter one, you are tested by The Sannyasi. If he determines your intentions are good and non-violent, you are allowed to stay in paradise for a time but are then asked to leave. If not, you are healed and sent back through the portal, which is sealed behind you. A few natives live in small villages in Langdarma, which is split into Upper and Lower Langdarma, depending on the altitude. All natives radiate auras of peace and one person per village is chosen (usually by an inclination to the craft) to be its healer. They are taught to be priests of Abhirati and must take oaths of nonviolence - in exchange they can cure practically any injury or ailment with a prayer and some blessed herbs. If they ever cause a wound though, they lose all of their powers. There is strictly only one such healer per village because Abhirati's lingering power would be wasted if it is concentrated so. The Sannyasi ensures that no healer spends much time with another once their training is complete. Nothing canon has ever been written about Far Nermoree but there was mention of it in Volume 9 of the Candlekeep Compendium, a fan work from the scribes over at Candlekeep.com.
