Where is a good place to look for players?

I have a 3.5E campaign going, I had 5 players but lost 2 due to work commitments (well work for one and lost "the boyfriend tagalong" when his girlfriend left).

I would really rather have 4 players. I've looked on pen&paper games, but apparently we are out in the sticks and the few people that want to travel this far are only available on nights conflicting with the other players. I looked on a few other sites as well.

I posted a notice at my friendly not-so-local game store. No calls from that.

Have I overlooked any good sources of recruitment? Does anyone have some good web sites to recommend?

We have a Players seeking Players forum. Not perfect, but you can sort by geographic region, and that helps a ton.

I often see people find other people serendipitously round these parts. Unless there is a reason you need to keep the information hidden, I would suggest you put your city, state (and country) in the location field of your profile so that it shows up under your screenname. It seems to happen regularly that someone in a thread mentions they are just one or two towns over from some other poster and often in the same boat in regard to a limited player base.
