Like Star Wars and Star Trek. Maybe not as hugely popular to the average citizen but you know D&D changed a lot of stuff. Created an industry. Changed how video games where made. You wouldn't have Zelda or Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest or heck Skyrim and Elden Ring etc if it wasn't for D&D. Not to mention it's effect on movies and tv and novels etc. You probably wouldn't have your Isekai anime and manga if not for D&D.</p><p></p><p>I've read and watched several documentary style stuff about Gary and TSR but I would love to see an 8-10 episode DRAMA about Gary the shoe cobbler who met a man name Dave and changed the world. </p><p></p><p>Season 1 can send with the rise of TSR at it's pinacle and Season 2 can be the slide to the take over by Williams or something. IDK.</p><p></p><p>Come on WotC! You keep wanting to get into the tv/movie game. So many other companies are making movies and tv shows and cartoons/anime that's basically taking from the D&D table, get on the train and make this stuff!</p></blockquote><p></p>
