Where to go with a 11th level monk

First Post
I am at a loss for what to do and ask for from my DM. We recently completed a huge quest in our campaign and the NPC's are rewarding us for getting a major item. My feats are deffinatly not min maxed, all for flavor of my character like Monkey Taunts the Emporer and Spellfire wielder. I plan on going atleast to 12th level monk to get abundent leap and take the Sun School tactical feat but after that I'm not sure if I want to go Spellfire Channeler of Kensei. Also, can anyone suggest some resonably priced magic items(5-12k) for a monk of my level. All I can think of is a Power Talisman. Sorry if I am a little vague but I can probly answer any question in further post.

Thanks

What's the character concept? For post 15th level monks the enlightened scholar is a really cool prestige class, but I'm not sure if that would fit your character. He does seem a little inclined towards magic, so the Tatooed Monk might be another option you want to consider, that or drunken master maybe. *shrug* Depends on his/her personality really. Good luck! :)

Oh yeah, I forgot. As for magic items, a Monk's Belt would probably tickle your fancy, though it is 13,000 gp, 1k over your limit. If you're willing to go the extra k though, I'm sure you'd like it. :)

I'm curious at the juxtaposition of thoughts in this sentence... the combination of feats being "all for flavour" and "not min-maxed" but happen to include Spellfire Wielder which is potentially so powerful that it has a "needs DM approval" sticker slapped on it!

Why do you not fancy continuing as a Monk all the way onwards? They have a nice progression and benefit from going all 20 levels as Monk.
