I'm not sure why that would be a bad thing, in and of itself. I may not like, for example, the work of Stephen King, but I have to acknowledge that if people are really enamored of his work, there must be some substance to him and his writing. The same goes for really obscure or non-prolific writers - John Bellairs is one of of my favorite writers, based on one book - The Face In The Frost. The fact that I haven't read anything else by him, and I assume he never wrote much else because I haven't seen any other books by him, doesn't take away from his status as one of my favorite authors. His contribution to literature is still valid, despite his small body of work. Even if he wrote 75 stereo owner's manuals, his work in fantasy is still noteworthy.</p></blockquote><p></p>
