I'll be frank with you; whatever your initial intentions, the tone of the thread comes across as, well, masturbatory. Kind of a "Hey look what I did!" sort of deal. This is due in large part to how high leveled the proposed character is. Level 1000 seems so far beyond the pale overpowerful as to make one wonder just what the point is. Look at it like this - you've made reference to a few items from Final Fantasy XI. Now imagine playing FFXI with a character that never runs out of HP/MP, always has 300% TP, automatically kills anything in one hit, and can create any item just by wanting it. It'd get pretty boring after a while, wouldn't you say? It might be amusing to be all powerful for a while, but with no risk of failure and no having worked hard to earn what you've got, it all just ends up being hollow. That's the problem some folks are having with the fresh-out-of-the-box level 1000 character. That it's a hollow excercise. The character isn't level 1000 because he's had mighty adventure after mighty adventure, it's level 1000 because you decided you wanted it so. You said you like powerful characters, BMH, and hey, that's dandy. You also mentioned that you don't have a game you're in right now. As a suggestion, why not just forget about the rules for the time being, and just write a story about your fighter. Who he is, what he's done, and what happens to him now. Try that on for size and see how it fits.
