I'm waiting for a second printing (if there ever is one) because of all the errata.

Might be waiting for a while as it's not a core book ir ever.

On one hand, I know how you feel. With games that aren't my primary system, like Castles and Crusades or Legend of the Five Rings, as soon as I hear about the numerous typos and lack of clarity, I stay away.

For a game system that I'm playing on a regular basis, as long as there is errata, I'm usually pretty forgiving.

If you like minis of these criters, check ou the Warhammer line. They have several variants of Lizard Men that I would bet were at least an "inspiration" for the black scale. (Kinda like how the Skaven were an inspiration for the Rat men in the SL setting. :p )

Actually, one of the sets has actual Blackscale Lizardmen in it. I'm not a player of the game, but I know its in one of the latest 3 sets (without gargantuan minis).

I just wish they had done a section that said "Blackscale Lizardmen as PCs..."

The Blackscale Lizardfolk is a large, uncommon figure in the Angelfire set.

Don't make me bring in the thought police, to deal with your blatant lack of political correctness :)

In third edition you can have demons and devils, but they are Lizardfolk not lizardmen (and to be on the safe side, I recommend you practice saying "Mongrelfolk", "Goatfolk" etc. as well). How do you think a female Mongrelfolk would feel if you called her a man?

That Blackscale Lizardfolk is a very nice mini though.
