D&D 4E Which non-WotC companies, if any, are going to make stuff for 4E?

I just hope everyone has learned a thing or two from the last go around.

I think it would be almost impossible for them not to have done so.

While we'll definitely* see a spike in the period following the 4E release, it won't come close to matching the glut of early 3E material. The companies that are big enough to make a real go of it saw what happened last time. Some smaller companies might try to step in and ramp things up, but the distributors and dealers were also badly burned, and they're going to be hesitant about moving anything that they're not certain will sell.

*Definitely = "Probably, in my opinion."

So, surge? Yes. Glut akin to last time? I'd be stunned if it even came close.
