Otherwise, I'm not interested. I'd be willing to shell out cash for a "higher grade" Player's Handbook when they do it with errata.</p><p></p><p><strong>Expanded Psionics Handbook:</strong> Must have for me.</p><p></p><p><strong>Monster Manual III:</strong> More creatures are always good. Creature books are the main thing I buy from 3rd party publishers, and this is just a book I'm likely to pick up.</p><p></p><p><strong>Complete Arcane & Divine:</strong> Although Complete Warrior isn't the best fighter book I've ever seen, it somehow switched my opinion on splats from "useless horribly written crap" to "useful material for further character customization." I'm aiming for both of these books because I hope they are of equal or better quality to Complete Warrior. Hopefully they don't increase the power creep though, as I don't mind "extra supplements" just so long as they don't bring one type of character up over the others.</p><p></p><p><strong>Races of the Wild & Stone:</strong> I'm not a race book person. I've always found books full of races or about races to be dull and disinteresting. Even if a set of books covered all races equally, which I've never seen support for, it will still not go to my shelf simply because I'm satisfied with races as is. If, when the book is released, it changes my mind... I may reconsider my opinion and stance completely.</p><p></p><p><strong>Frostburn and Libris Mortis:</strong> Wait and see, but these are definitely high on my list. Especially Frostburn, as one of my weakest points as a DM is in creating and describing the environment.</p><p></p><p><strong>Planar Handbook:</strong> Guide... for... players... to... planes? I'm saying that I might go for it if I see good things, but I really don't know what to expect.</p><p></p><p><strong>Eberron Campaign Setting:</strong> Since I've bored of Scarred Lands, never had much love for Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk support is almost non-existent... I'm hoping to be impressed. Basically, now that I've snagged the Dragon Lance Campaign Setting hardcover, I'm going to wait for Eberron to release before going either way. If neither captures my love, I'll be looking at you 3rd party publishers again. </p><p></p><p><strong>Eberron Supplements:</strong> Not likely even if I do like Eberron. I like "big" adventure books, not small ones. Sharn might be a good purchase, but it would have to be very impressive.</p><p></p><p><strong>Map Folios:</strong> I use minis, but I am not that concerned with terrain placement tiles and such. The 3-d set, however, has me somewhat interested.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>All that said, I'm really hoping Eberron is good, and I'm hoping Frostburn is followed up by a book on desert environments. I'm interested in running one of three settings right now: Eberron, Dark Sun, or Dragonlance. If all three fail me, I'm going to be turning to you 3rd party publishers out there!
