I say no for almost all of these books. This may look like a rant, but I bought 4 books this month (none from Wotc), and could well buy a fifth (a star-wars supplement that looks nice and useful). Expanded Psionics Handbook: Maybe (I have an interest in psionics, but my players never used in the campaign I run, so it would probably be as useless as buying the first psi-book in the first place). D&D Map Folio I: No (I prefer to draw my own maps; pre-made maps rarely fit my own wishes). Complete Divine: Probably Not (I already have Defenders of the Faith that I never used, so why buy this one, even if it is much better?) Eberron Campaign Setting: No (seems well done, but it's not the kind of setting I run) Planar Handbook: No (I have MoP Vile Darkness and Exalted Deed; very few use of them, so won't buy another). Races of Stone: No D&D Map Folio II: No (same reason as earlier) D&D Basic Set: No (I have DnD 3.0 rules, why buy these ones?) Monster Manual III: No (I have enough creatures with two books and two free netbooks on the subject. Besides, new monsters tend to be more and more weirdies maybe good for sci-fi but ridiculous in fantasy settings -Yrtak for example-) Frostburn : No (don't know what it is) Eberron Whispers of the Vampire's Blade: No (don't know what it is) Special Edition Player's Handbook: Probably (only depends on my money; I don't have 3.5 PHB, so would be a good thing to get it in this form) Libris Mortis The Book of Undead: No (don't need anything about undead. Especially when I have a great free pdf on the subject) Shining South: No (don't know what it is) Complete Arcane: No Sharn : City of Towers: No (I don't use Eberron) Races of the Wild: No (no need to buy a book for an occasional player wanting to play a hobgoblin or what not) Map Folio 3-D: No (same reason as earlier)
