All the BRP incarnations of RQ, including Mongoose's, strike me as better for D&D-style adventuring-lifestyle fantasy than the kind of mythic experience Glorantha's reams of background are supposed to generate. If I were to give Mongoose's RQ a try it'd be in a different setting, but I've actually already got a BRP-based fantasy game of my own creation (with healthy quantities stolen from Magic World) so it doesn't hold that much interest for me. I am looking forward to the Deluxe BRP/d100 System/whatever Chaosium's calling it these days, which apparently has a shot at making it out by Christmas.</blockquote>
