The AU witch is not your standard fantasy witch, but boy is it a great class. An AU witch has two choices at character creation: a wirchery aspect and a manifestation. So, for example, you might create a Iron witch with the Song manifestation, giving you Armor Song as a special ability in addition to the Iron Witch abilities. At higher levels you get more manifestations. With 6 witch types and 5 manifestations, plus the fact that creating new witch types would be easy, witches are a suitably varied class. You can easily make it a very traditional witch, or you can expand it into a whole mess of unothadox magic. The whole idea of the AU witch is they do what they want with magic, using their own methods indstead of the highly researched methods of the Magistars.I know this isn't a "traditional" witch, but you can easily make it one, and the class can be expanded into all kinds of magic users. Thats one of the things I like about the AU witch: being a witch dosen't mean you have to follow any of the other traditional "witch" stereotypes, it means you practice an unusual type of magic.</blockquote>
