Which published scenarios should I buy?

Fearkeeper

First Post
So I'm a Call of Cthulhu Keeper who likes running short, published scenarios for groups of two to five players at a time. I happen to have a little extra money on my hands, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which published scenarios I should buy. THE SCARIER THE BETTER. Thanks. ;)

Well, any CoC scenario can be short... :]

One of my favorites is Dead-Man Stomp from the fifth edition rulebook. Speakeasy, Jazz (incl. Louis Armstrong), and restless dead.

It is probably available in one form or another even today.

Short, creepy Call of Cthulhu?

Try Pagan Publishing - they have some of the very best scenarios (and how I wish that their backlist would be reprinted).

The Resurrected Vol. 3 has some pretty gruesome examples - including 'In Media Res'. A scenario that starts with Sanity 0 characters.... And 'All Good Children' - would you put Mythos spells in a children's book? Well, somebody did....

Mortal Coils is another anthology of unconnected horrors.

Thanks for the great suggestions, guys! The children's book one sounds particularly intriguing. More suggestions are welcome!

EDIT: Just purchased Resurrected 3. Thanks, AuldGrump! As for Dead Man Stomp, it's in the core rulebook but my players and I just found it rather silly. And I'll check out the Mountains of Madness, JRR.
