My characters tend to use a long or short bow for weapons, whichever seems to fit the character in question the best. Though, occasionally a crossbow fits the character a little better.

I forgot the hand axe.

In fact, this is my rogue/ranger's primary weapon. She has four of them. Along with a composite longbow and six throwing daggers, each with a groove for holding poison.

My character's cohort uses a composite longbow, so I marked that. She herself has the shaky flaw (-2 to ranged attacks), so doesn't often use ranged weapons. However, she has been tossing a lot of alchemist's fire during RttToEE, so I marked the "Other" option for that.

My dwarf Paladin uses Throwing hammers. And in just a couple more levels....Returning Warhammers with Far shot.

Spearchucker Elf

I have a druid elf that uses a spear exclusively. Sometimes in order to free himself up for spells and wildshaping he'll huck the spear first.
