Like TheAuldGrump, I wouldn't waste my time discussing things (or "whining" even) in this situation. For me, the best solution would be to leave the group and find a DM who was more into helping me realize my aspirations to play a heroic character, rather than taking every possible opportunity to keep that from happening.</blockquote>
