Was that particular piece in a TTA book, or in the similar but unconnected Space Wars: Worlds & Weapons? Interesting that neither Empire of the Petal Throne nor Tunnels & Trolls got a mention. Both had been around long enough to have fan bases. RIP, Greg. I like to think he was happy with what Chaosium had done over the years. That might actually be significant, since it seems indicative of a shift toward out-of-house and reprint designs that would lead to Interstellar Conquest and Dragon Pass being reprinted by AvHill in teh future. It's certainly got some of the best model work this side of Dragonslayer, at least when it comes to the starships. Nice set design too, with some very ambitious zero-gee on the Palomino and IIRC the first attempt at a hologram in film history? The grav-mobile robots haven't aged quite as well, although Max is still as horrifying as ever. Maybe the poor guy had his flesh seared away by a combination of heavy armor and a heat metal spell, and it's sort of carried over into undeath? Be more fitting if it was wearing white-hot plate armor and the effect was contagious.
