It's a neat little game, the only thing I don't like in it is the random character generation - 3d6 in order. With, for example melee, both you attack roll and AC being roll under your Strength, the difference between a level 1 Ftr with 10 and 18 Strength is huge. To big for my tastes, and I normally do random ability generation (best 3 of 4d6 in order, re-roll one then swap two if desired). This has two mitigating circumstances 1. after any roll of 15 in an ability, your next roll is 2d6+2 (note, tho, if you roll poorly there is no opposite gain) 2. as you have to roll under your ability to increase it as you level up eventually they will even out. For me it is too random, the discrepancy you get is massive at 1st level. A high Str PC is a melee monster then, almost always hitting and almost never being hit. Very easily fixed by other methods of PC gen. I would probably give a couple of array of scores but roll to see which array you get then which ability they go in. Then you can swap 2. EDIT: Oh and he's missed the price for one handed or ranged weapons ;)
