Wow, animosity seems to have reared its ugly head since last time I checked this thread... Anyway, I am surprised by how few people mentioned Troll Lord Games. I know their products so far have not been the best but they are one of only two publishers to have the two of the creators of D&D writing for them. You know the quality and value of the products will be some of the best for 2002 because it simply has to be. I thought they would be the one to watch next year because I expect a huge change from them. I didn't vote for Necromancer (the other company with Gygax and Kuntz) because they are already at the top of the d20 biz. I didn't vote for Sword & Sorcery because they are already well liked. I didn't vote for Kenzer Co. because I already expect them to be one of the top producers of D&D material, whether you call it official or d20, they even have Ed Greenwood writing material for them. There are several other companies that are currently doing a wonderful job and I can easily list half a dozen companies that I have bought products from. But the one that I expect to make a big splash in 2002 that seemed to be non-existent in 2001 in Troll Lord Games. I also expect to make several purchases from the likes of Kenzer and Necromancer and Green Ronin and Atlas and Fiery Dragon and Privateer and Mystic Eye... I guess I was just thinking when I voted: I don’t really watch the leaders, I look for the little guy who will eventually tie or pass up the ones currently in the front.
