Message: <blockquote data-quote="Azul" data-source="post: 2652780" data-attributes="member: 11779">Ninja Scroll managed to get shown uncut on late night TV here.  It's got a fair bit of blood and at least one graphic rape scene, so it's clearly in the adult-oriented end of the spectrum.  By anime standards, it's a bit graphic.  By North American animation standards, it's pretty graphic... sort of on par with a 1980s slasher movie I guess.Try Ichi the Killer or something in that vein if you want really graphic.  Heck, even Elfen Lied has more graphicly bloody corpses than Ninja Scroll.  Bloody horrible slaughter is pretty common in darker anime, especially the horror stuff.And then you get the violent hentai stuff like Urotsukdoji.  It's got a lot of sexual content and a lot of violence, often in the same scene.  I dunno if it would have been my first choice for an anime with sexual content though (too gruesome).  There's plenty of hentai stuff that lacks the violent themes of that one.</blockquote>
