Who or what is "Snig the Axe"?

There's a little mini in the Archfiends set called "Snig the Axe" (you can see it in the gallery here, 10th row down). Anyone know what his deal is? Goblins don't come in yellow now do they?

He's just a goblin. From the SRD:

A goblin stands 3 to 3-1/2 feet tall and weigh 40 to 45 pounds. Its eyes are usually dull and glazed, varying in color from red to yellow. A goblin’s skin color ranges from yellow through any shade of orange to a deep red; usually all members of a single tribe are about the same color.

Nasty? I kid you not...when I first saw this on the poster for the Archfiends set, my first words were "Awwww....he's adorable!"

Indeed he is nasty. He's cheap, and he comes onto the board with three 3-point goblin minions (making him effectively REALLY cheap), and these minis don't count toward a 12 mini limit. Of course, you've got to want a warband with a whole bunch of goblins in it...

Now, let's hope we get a Meepo mini.

Yellow is all the rage in the new archfiends set from what I can see. I bought three packs and got a Zhentarim warrior, gold dwarf, priest of lathander and orc raider, all in bright yellow. It must be the cheap color this time of year.
