Bastard demiliches ate my hands. My first charaterS (it was first edition, and we only had three people, so we doubled up.) I played AD&D with my grandma and some neighbors who had played AD&D back in the day with my uncle. Anyhow, onto the characters. I played Nightshade and Diehard McFalidor, twin brothers of magic and might, respectively. Nightshade was always my favorite, and got to be a 10th level magic-user. Diehard met an unfortunate end in the Tomb of Horrors--he was a 9th level Paladin. I had a lot of fun playing, even though there was practically no role-playing and it was all hack-n-slash. All of our characters were blatant examples of munchkinism, we rolled up stats by rolling 3d6 twelve times PER ABILITY SCORE rerolling any 1s or 2s. Needless to say, prior to any deaths or ability drains, my lowest score was 16. Oh those were the days...LOL. (That was actually only about 5years ago...) I'm good with names aren't I? :D Edit: I forgot some of the adventures I went on with this dynamic duo! We started off by walking around Hommlett a little bit, and soon marched off to go guard a caravan heading to the Keep on the Borderlands. After lots of fun in the caves of chaos, we went in and killed stuff in the moathouse--fun stuff. Continuing to fight evil, we decided to go smash the hell out of the Temple of Elemental Evil--that occupied our time for 4 or 5 levels. We didn't end up fighting the huge battles with Zuggtmoy or anyone else fun because that would've just taken a long time and we were all pretty tired of that Temple. (in fact, i only know about Zuggtmoy from Nodwick and recently borrowing the quest from my old DM) Our next adventure was The Quest for the Heartstone methinks... a fun OD&D module. Then we ventured into the Tomb of Horrors and we never finished--the group just sort of split up. We didn't leave the tomb without losing all of our stuff though! Oh no no no, we walked back for a day or two to Hommlett completely naked. Damn demilich... i WANT MY STUFF BACK!
