With this post I am submitting my application to be the Paizo correspondent for En World. I have experience covering video games and I have written several articles for the MMORPG websites Ten Ton Hammer and MMORPG.com. During this time I helped the news editor of Ten Ton Hammer, Mr. Garrett Fuller set up panels at New York City Comic Con to showcase both Cryptic Studio's Champions Online, and an art and development panel for Curt Shilling's 38 Studio's Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, featuring the creative talents of both R.A. Salvatore and Todd McFarlane. Pathfinder is the game I play exclusively now, and I am aware of all they have released, and the upcoming releases announced as of Gencon. I am experienced using their system, and I would be able to bring that experience into reviews and interview questions. I have not yet attended Gencon but it will not be a problem for me to attend in the future as I am a Science teacher and I have the summer months of July and August off from work. Below I have links to two previous articles I have written for Ten Ton Hammer, and one I wrote for MMORPG.com. The first is a speculative piece on which intellectual property Bioware was going to try to acquire for their MMO (at the time it was only known they acquired a big lisence, alas quite obviously my speculation was wrong), and the second article was an opinion piece on character costume creation for City of Heroes. In the third article I was fortunate to be able to tour City of Heroes' Paragon City with Senior Lead Designer Matt Miller, Lead Developer Bruce Harlick, and Brand Manager Adam King. The purpose of this article was to highlight some of the new features for the City of Heroes' Issue 16 release which offered players new power options and costume upgrades. The links follow: Article 1 MMO Speculation: http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/8161 Article 2 City of Heroes costume design:CoH Editorial: Making Character Creation Fun | Ten Ton Hammer Article 3 from MMORPG.com: City of Heroes Previews: Issue 16 Hands-On Preview at MMORPG.com Thank you for your time and consideration.
