Who'd like to review Deadly Games?

E.N. Publishing, the d20 publishing arm of ENWorld, released its latest product this past week, Deadly Games. Unfortunately, the ENWorld staff reviewers aren't allowed to review this product because of potential conflict of interest, so I wanted to see if anyone here would be interested in receiving a complementary copy of the book if they're willing to write a review. Preferably you'd either have posted a few reviews already so I can make sure you're a reasonably-devoted reviewer, but feel free to reply even if you've never done a review before. I'm looking for two people to do reviews.

Oh, and if you already have a copy of Deadly Games and you'd like an incentive to review it, I'll provide a free copy of any one of our previous products, or the next product we put out.

If you're not familiar with Deadly Games, you can find the press release either on the main page or here: http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48180

Deadly games sounds really cool, but now I have the phrase,

"You must snarfle the Garthogg!!"

running through my mind.

Hey RW - in a fit of whimsy, I made you a new avatar! If you don't want to keep it, just toss the little fella. No problem.

And I REALLY like this book. So many cool ideas, plus good maps and art. When you have (for instance) a game like Race Against Time ("Contestants must find the antidote to the lethal poison in their veins before they die and before the other poisoned contestants find it"), how can you go wrong? :D

I love the new avatar! Thanks Kevin, and I'm glad you're liking it. It's a bit of a shame that I didn't have enough time to include what was going to be Appendix Four: Comedic Dungeons. My friend Micheal (Stahn Li) on the boards, told me that Deadly Games is far too serious, and that I should've included advice for having Madden-esque commentary during game sessions. :)

Unfortunately, I didn't realize how quickly people would respond, so I'm just going to have to take the first two who replied, Eternal Knight and Broken Fang. If you could email me at RangerWickett@hotmail.com, I can provide the link for download within a day or so.

And Cedric, what the heck is that from? I must have missed out on some movie sometime.

Heh,

It's from the Coneheads movie.

Where he has to fight the "Garthogg" in this gladitorial arena with a stick..and winds up singing Tainted Love and killing it with a 4 iron shot down the throat from a golf-ball sized piece of rock.
