[QUOTE="Banshee16, post: 4021296, member: 7883"] I'm kind of in a similar boat. Admittedly, there is a lot about 4E that I've heard, which I'm not a fan of. It just seems to be going in a different direction than I am. However, I'm still interested in the end product. I *want* to like it.....so I stick around and post, but mainly lurk, as I've found very little actual debate that doesn't seem to devolve into something less polite. There are several interesting things I've read about 4E though....the new stuff about the Feywild seems really cool.....with the exception of topiary dryads :) The integration of stuff from the Book of Nine Swords could be cool also. I do want to see what else is coming in the new game though, which is why I keep reading this forum. I've got so much 3.5 and 3.0 stuff though, much of which hasn't been used yet. I still want to try a Conan game.....and a Game of Thrones game, and a Dragonlance game, and a Ptolus game, and an Eberron game.....and an Iron Kingdoms game (especially). And my Midnight game is still going. I've got material for all of those, and I'd be willing to bet that at the rate we're going, it'll probably last me to 5E. So do I just get rid of it? I took the effort of trying to continue running Planescape during 3E, even though it required a lot of converting, or waiting for conversions. I'm not sure I want to go through with that again, so maybe it's easier to just stick with 3E for now. Many of my players have expressed that they don't want to switch anyways, which makes it easier. I'd rather that 4E doesn't kill the game....because then there won't be a 5E. I just might not be a big consumer this time around. Or, maybe I'm kidding myself. I guess I'll know in May :).
