Why do you love D&D?

I just bought a new drive and it came with some movie-making software. Playing around with it, I ended up with this video - a slideshow of some of my favorite art from the game to one of my favorite pieces of music ("Prelude to War" from Battlestar Galactica). This is the fantasy that inspires me to play.

Why do you love D&D?

1. I get to live in my moms basement rent free and D&D makes it seem normal.
2. I can drink Mt. Dew without anyone telling me about how fat I'm getting.
3. The missionaries leave me alone now.
4. I can wear a shirt with a D20 pictured on it with some obscure reference that only other gamers will get, and they'll think I'm cool.
5. I can pretend to be a woman in the game and people on D&D forums will praise me for it.
6. When people see my neckbeard, they understand.
7. I get to see people argue back & forth about D&D as if being "right" matters one bit.
8. And I can make dumb comments about anything D&D and someone will be insulted by it for some childish reason.
