Mechanically, my characters are awful compared to what you guys come up with here, but their personality is always memorable. I love to get into the head of my characters and figure out what makes em tick and work that into how I build and play them at the table. I also like the sense of wonder. This might sound lame, but I'm not real good at creating adventures so my group and I often use published adventures. And when I'm reading through prepping to run them, there's nothing better than coming across a mansion that has been enchanted with magic to operate itself. Or in the WotBS when they have the giant battles - it was just incredible to see how the writers used magic for an all out battle. So many spells that are useless normally come to life with awesome results.</blockquote>
