But the compromised technique of a subset of practitioners doesn't invalidate an entire art...b) I'm a snob - I don't LIKE treating Martial Arts as a sport. Makes me judgemental.c) LOTS of Kendo practitioners have their cutting technique tempered by exposure to Iaido. Possibly even a majority.d) The 'Cut' - the purity of which is pretty much all important to an Iaido practitioner is but one of many, many things going on in Kendo. For instance, Iaido practitioners get to focus on the quality of their cutting WITHOUT having someone hacking away at them...
