The other 2 yes, I've heard of it. Set is sort of mentioned, he was a Yuan Ti deity for a time in FR. No mention of any Yuan Ti empires in FR. The Gobliniod Section is based on Greyhawk, not FR and mentioned a bunch of Gobliniod Deities that have never appeared in an FR product to my knowledge. The Hag section is setting generic, but fits well enough into FR. Giants section is closest is FR, but its FR mentions are side bars and it meantion Diancrastra, cool deity, but again not found in any FR product to my knowledge. Orcs actually fits well with FR, except Orcs should have had subraces, Grey and Mountain which they always have had. The entry on fiendish orcs doesn't mention that they actually do have their own Tribes, and some worship Garagos instead of Gruumsh, or that the Storm God Talos may have been a human offshoot Gruumsh. Kobolds are okay, although I don't think the Urds deity has been mentioned in an FR product before. Just a missed opportunity, but I could see the Red Dragon Godking Tzchazzar having local Kobold tribes worship him l, kind of civilizing them abit in Chessenta. Aasimar has a major disconnect with FR lore from the SCAG, Aasimar are not specifically linked to Mount Celestia (I mean some can be, many, maybe most aren't) and in fact in the region they are most common, they are closely related to the Gods of the Old Empires, mostly Mulhorandi, but some Utherite Gods as well). Firbolgs look and act like nothing like FR Firbolgs. Tritons are okay, if lacking in detail. Tabaxi have a side bar mentioning FR (Maztica specifically) and the Cat Lord has appeared in a FR comic before, although it appears he's a God now, and he did speak Tabaxi I believe. Weirdly Tabaxi don't actually seem to have a language, even though they should, especially if they all come from Maztica. Kenku are descendants of a Bird Creator race in FR, not mentioned. I'm also iffy on the can't speak except for mimicry as I don't know if that was the case before. Goliaths have actual been in FR since late 3e I believe, mentioned in a few novels, but they're place in FR and what Gods they worship and where they came from have not been well detailed at all. Lizardfolk are fine, except no mention of the Reptilian Creator race that created them.  Seriously an actual FR lore seems to be almost an after thought in the book, heck even Volo and Elminister appear to be after thoughts, offering nothing, but quips on posted notes throughout the book, not offering the slightest real insight into anything. If you removed them you'd barely notice their gone. So yeah, I really love the book, but I don't like how its marketed as a FR book, its also makes the book confusing as to what is and isn't FR lore for those unfamiliar with the setting, amd even somewhat for those that are. Are the Gobliniod deities aside from the 2 I meantioned ealier intended to be interlopers to FR for 5e, or is that part not intended for FR, I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I love the book, its great, but this bugs me. So what do you guys think, was the marketing for the book misleading?</blockquote>
