I like the monster, but I would make some formatting changes. Primary is it aligns more with other monsters. The life drain weapon attack should be separated into two sections. The life drain should go in the before the actions, worded something like anytime the battle wight hits with a melee weapon it does an extra (1d8) necrotic damage... the save DC and life loss should follow, based on the necrotic damage. Then the action is simply the weapon attack with the damage for the weapon (See Angelic Weapons under Angel for example). Right now it reads that if it hits with the weapon it just loses the weapon damage... which makes little sense. If is a touch attack with life drain then it goes under Actions but should omit the weapon in the name, just give it the same damage and leave it as such. Lastly in the Longsword, omit the difference for damage, either it uses a shield or not, if not, use the larger value. It simplifies the creature during the game (easier on DMs) and if there is no good reason for the wight to not use both hands, why would it?
