Message: <blockquote data-quote="Philotomy Jurament" data-source="post: 3470250" data-attributes="member: 20854">I think the decision WotC made was misguided, but it doesn't really affect me, personally, and won't change my buying habits.  The last WotC book I purchased was Red Hand of Doom, and I think the one before that was Book of Vile Darkness.  WotC simply doesn't offer much that I'm interested in, so I haven't bought much from them in a long time.  Same goes for Dragon and Dungeon.  They just weren't to my taste -- especially Dragon.  People are talking about the end of an era, but I mourned Dragon's "death" a long time ago, when I found it was no longer useful or interesting to me.  I have no interest (or confidence) in the WotC online venture, so I don't expect things to change, there.  No boycott, just no interest.However, Paizo just may have some products in the works that I'll be buying.  I'm not that enthused about Pathfinder; I'm not a fan of the whole Adventure Path thing.  However, that's not all they're doing.  Their Planet Stories line of fiction is right up my alley, and Erik Mona mentioned that adventures in the same vein (classic swords-n-sorcery action/art/etc) will happen, soon.  I'd also be interested in the book of compiled stand-alone adventures that Erik mentioned he is considering.  Lastly, I'm very interested in Paizo's partnership with Necromancer Games.  (The RPG companies that have been getting my money are Troll Lord, Necromancer, and Goodman, for the most part.)</blockquote>
