Vampire certainly talked up the roleplaying and social aspect and the personal horror aspect, but the rules themselves didn't do much to support or encourage that. </p><p></p><p>For "real" roleplaying rules you'd have to go to something like Dogs in the Vineyard, Burning Wheel or My Life with Master.</p></blockquote><p></p>
