Why is there no Power Focus feat?

Out of curiosity, is there any rationale for there being a Spell Focus feat, but no Power Focus feat?

Not sure what you mean. If you mean psionics, there is one, but you have to give up your psionic focus to use it (On the otehr hand it works for any psionic power)

If you mean ability focus, like a stench cloud like around some gamers, I believe the monterous feat is availalbe

There's Weapon Focus, which approximates the same thing for fighters. (You get a +1 with your offensive capacity.)

What mechanically are you trying to accomplish with this?

I don't know psionics, so if it's referring to that, see the question above.

Ok that went wrong what I meant to ask was this.

For magic, there is Spell Focus (by school).

For psionics, there is Psionic Endowment, which affects all disciplines; but there is no Power Focus that affects by discipline.

Why? Apart from the use of psionic focus bit.

There are only six Disciplines, and each has a direct damage power, and several have both direct damage and insta-kill effects. So, Discipline Focus would be proportionally more powerful than School Focus (which is what Spell Focus should have been called).

But as it stands, Psionic Endowment affects ALL disciplines. Doesn't that mean
Psionic Endowment > Discipline Focus > Spell Focus?

Not when you have to burn your focus to use it, thus preventing someone from using Endowment and Penetration or metapsionics at the same time. And then there's the action cost to recover the focus, etc.
