Higher levels of Scale are as protective as full-plate used to be. 2) we now get SOOO many feats that the value of a feat has been diluted3) it encourages us to play fighters that use dex for protection, which fits in well with the whole super-proficient warrior rather than a heavy handed tool user (you are not the bonus listed on your armor, you are the living beating center of a universe... etc..)</blockquote>
