You're not the only one. Star Wars Gamer was the first gaming magazine I actually bothered to subscribe to (having bought Dragon at my FLGS). I know at one other person in my gaming club also subscribed. I'm rather proud that I have issues 3-10 (Issues 1 & 2 are the only d20 SWRPG products I don't have) As for the cause of the demise: http://www.gamingreport.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=52 An interview with Johnny Wilson and Lisa Stevens of Paizo, where they explain, among other things, why Star Wars Gamer failed. In brief, it was way too specialized to get enough circulation to support a magazine like that, and they had a lot of trouble selling ad space since they were competing against Star Wars Insider and Dragon/Dungeon for ad dollars. There was the brief attempt to fold Star Wars RPG related gaming material into Polyhedron, but vocal Poly haters in Dungeon ruined that one, so you can also thank the readers of Dungeon who wanted an end to Polyhedron for the lack of magazine support. By the way, the Star Wars RPG isn't dead. WotC still pays for those web articles. Yes, it looks grim, but they have the license until 2012, and Gary Sarli (a.k.a. WizO the Hutt) posted a highly informative, insightful, and semi-insider look at why the RPG has been dormant recently: http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=6769372&postcount=723
