You can run 1e with NWP from 2e, or use the NWP from the Wilderness and Dungeon Survival Guides since that came first anyway.If players want to use the 2e Thief or Bard we let them, it does not matter. Here is how to run 1e or B/X monsters with ThaC0 (or BaB) on the fly, just use the HD as a Fighter of equivalent level. Done. Sometimes I even run 1e with 2e d10 Initiative if I am feeling like mixing it up and its easy to do.Lets talk Demon and Devils, 1e and 2e both have them, but they are different (mechanically). but there is a place for both in a 1e or 2e game. Why limit yourself?
